Unrealistic Downed player review

Battlefield 6 delivers an intense, immersive combat experience with stunning visuals, dynamic maps, and smooth gunplay that keeps you locked in every match. The game rewards teamwork and strategy, and the scale of the battles is truly next-level.

My only critique is the lack of mobility when you’re downed. In my opinion, players should have limited movement even when waiting for a revive and not just when a teammate is actively rescuing them. Adding this feature would give a more realistic and strategic edge to the revive system.

Still, it’s an excellent addition to the Battlefield franchise and worth playing.

  • I agree with what your saying, but not just because "realism" but more of ive found myself and others in a position where I cannot get to them or they can not get to me and have some movement for then to just crawl a few feet towards me so I can pull them further into cover or vis versa.  In my opinion this doesn't even need to be a directly movement based, maybe sometime of equipment that allows you to pull a downed player towards you or smt.

Although it doesn't sound like a bad idea, in reality it can be very annoying, because your will never clearly and immediately know if the opponent crawling on the ground is harmless and just trying to be revived or it's a guy that will shoot you next second. But I would like to have it otherwise, too. :)

At least personally I think the best way if they choose to add downed player movement, is by clearly showing the player as downed although idk how they would do that with out breaking emersion. One way is hanging a skull icon on or above them when you aim, but ik plenty of people who wouldn't like that. Maybe change the middle dot of the crosshare to a X while still letting them shoot so people cant just camp behind the bodies? There's probably many better ways to go about this but I see what you mean.

The problem is the visual "clutter" that will slow down decision making, either it will be an icon (possibly also covering an enemy behind it), or a necessity to aim to a possible target first, etc. which is not something you want to have in a situation where you need to make quick decisions and clearly identify threats. As a downed players I certainly would wish to have some kind of movement so I can crawl behind a cover or so, but not at the expense of making the general combat situations worse. :)
