I'm glad you're trying to resolve the issue; the problem is that I do not like that you've locked me out of managing my own PC and it's processes. I get you need to secure things, but there is a balance between security and usability. You've locked this game's process in such a way that even in elevated system prompt, I can't assign which cores this game can use, nor can I set it to an elevated processing priority. To me, as an Sr IT administrator, this is very unacceptable. You might wonder why I want this. I have an older system, Core i7 9700K, running Windows 11. I'm constantly running into CPU bottlenecking from video games. Breaking performance because a game and/or windows decides it wants full CPU control at 100%. I can limit these products manually and it fixes a lot of problems. Specially in games like FO76.
I don't care about secure boot, go for it. I don't care about your Anticheat, good for you. But I OWN MY PC, not you. YOU do not get to control how I configure the processes on this PC.
Now, if you feel this is part of your need to control cheating, that's good for you. I don't need the game. I want it.... but I don't need it. And if enough people don't need the game. You're f'd. 2042 was a bad start. Hopefully this goes better, but not if you do garbage like this.
Functionality and security MUST work together.
