Use War Tapes V.A.L.

Everyone, go into your audio settings and select War Tapes VAL (there’s also just War Tapes for a small step down). It’s an incredibly immersive experience and I don’t know why it’s not standard to begin with. It’s sensational and really captured me in the OG feel of the game. Very happy I turned this on before even jumping into my first game.

Seen a lot about the game sounding flat including the guns, brother, this solves that issue.  Took me straight back to the headspace of Metro in the twisty maps and then Caspian Border for the open one. The tank engines make me melt, IFV’s sound like an angry cougar coming for you and the Abrams is back to sounding like it warps the world to its intentions.

Like I said, this should just be standard. Brilliant work from the audio department.
