we need suppressing in battlefield 6. I have 200 rounds in a LMG shooting at a sniper/down hallway they can peak in and out and shoot me in the head like what, suppression were did you go bf3 and bf4 had normality bf6 needs a change. its not cod
I fear that without a rework to the suppression system, LMGs will become largely pointless. In it's current form, the game rewards constant movement which is an issue even BF5 had, its too easy to, as you say, peak out and headshot someone even if they are 'suppressed'.
Light machine guns are completely lacking in personality in this game. I think I can count on one hand the number of players I've seen with these weapons. They absolutely need to be rebalanced, otherwise they'll be obsolete.
There should be suppression if possible against weapons that use long-range scopes, whether it's a sniper or an assault rifle with a 6x scope.
