Forum Discussion
Scouring the forums and reading what gaming media cover, I think that the devs will have to choose what to listen to and what is just complaints from those who hate change or are no longer sweaty.
Most of what will be listened to will be when the statistics meet opinion, or when something really make sense. They probably won't remove glint in buildings because 1 it's would be reasonably complex to get right and 2 there needs to be a penalty for staying far from the fight, they don't want 64 players where 40 of them are camping..... That's sniper elite.
I see a lot of complaints that are counterpoint to each other, one post says, "this is OP" while the next says "this needs a boost" so devs are going to have to pick which side moves closer to their vision, and again they'll probably use stats.
So yes, they will listen, to SOME, and yes some will cry bloody murder that the devs don't care because their choice wasn't implemented.
Sniping used to be more skillful, therefore you never had 40 long range campers because it was hard to hit, let alone kill anyone, but that was back when there were more than 4 classes. With only 4 classes I can understand why the devs don't want one of those 4 to be out of reach to a lot of players. The problem the Devs have is they keep saying they are making a classic BF game yet keep changing the mechanics that made the BF games, well BF.

Because you had exaggerated gravitational effects and low muzzle velocity on the sniper rifles. Now, they are realistic, it still takes skill, even more so now since you can't see your shot only impact. Adapt, or Don't play.
