21.9 ultrawide with black bars on a 32.9 super ultrawide monitor?

All other fps i play i shrink the game to 21.9 ultrawide and have a black bar either side of the game, I find this easier to play than playing at the native 32.9 of my super ultrawide oddysey g9. 

Call of duty make it super easy with display settings. I have tried changing resolution settings aspect ratio settings etc in battlefield 6 and just cannot seem to change it. The resolution and aspect ratio settings just stretch whatever I input to fit my 32.9 super ultrawide rather than filling the edges with black bars.
