I've also has this issue across Beta 1 and Beta 2 on PC using the EA Desktop client, with DMRs and Carbines. Currently cannot equip the linear compensator to the M39 EMR despite only using 40 attachment points at the moment. Fully resetting the weapon to stock and attempting to reattach also does not work.
However, this issue does not seem to occur when I'm modding a weapon back on the main menu, and only seems to occur intermittently in game. The example above was a Conquest game on Liberation Peak.
