Battlefield 6 Open Beta Bugs & Issues
Greta Beta, fantastic response though there are some issues and bugs found which ofcourse is why there is a beta.
My own experience is this:
- In the map Siege of Cairo there is an error with textures, The garage doors and metal shutters have an intense chromatic aberration which even with turned off feature still shows an intense blinding huge white refraction from sunlight at points in the map. Most replicable area is the alleys between E capture point & its nearest HQ.
- There is also an issue with out of bound exploits in Siege of Cairo, players can use the parachute to scale higher than their position or jump onto the roofs and freeways, or simply reverse vehicles in the E side HQ and the barriers will eventually throw the vehicle in the air at max height, allowing players to diminish vehicle supplies and jump out the vehicle mid air to parachute onto out of bounds rooftops.
- There’s also an issue with bloom in weapons, I couldn’t quite figure out the replication however it occurs on all guns I believe after sprinting in game; the bloom will not behave as intended for the build or weapon. And I have noticed online videos showing this can only be corrected by sliding a few times to which does correct the characters sway or stance that may be triggering an unbalanced fire line.
- On PS5 there is also an issue inside the options-settings menu. It will lock players ui and prevent any further interaction. Simply changing one setting requires multiple closes and opening of the settings menu.
- Alongside the settings menu issue there’s also an issue for PS5 controllers assigning the slide button, it can not be binded correctly to a button with any alternative hold or press interaction. I.E) O or R3 can be used however they trip in confusion of their timed press.
- above is related to this too, the alternate button layout to swap crouch and melee does not allow players to precisely lean, mount, and slide, crouch corrrctly. The button layout for R3 seems to have layers that crash each others protocol out. I’ve literally stood infront of prompts to mount my weapon and they don’t work when using alternate (and this was without a binded slide button).
