Yes I know the Beta doesn't start until the 7th. But plenty of people are able to launch the game and check out the settings/menus. I cannot do this.
I enabled Secure Boot, updated NVIDIA drivers, and updated Windows (11). I tried BOTH the EA and Steam client. The game will not load at all. It starts with the Beta screen loading, then a black window, then it just crashes out and nothing happens.

Well well well, I figured it out. I had a Storage space set up in Windows with RAID. I unplugged those drives so it would remove it from Windows temporarily, and low an behold the game now launches.
I actually saw a post here yesterday saying they did this with 2042, but I brushed it off and didn't think that could actually fix it. So if you are having this issue and have a storage space set up then try removing it or just unplug the drives.
could you please explain to me what this Stora space is, and how can I check if I have it? I have no idea what it is.
I can't believe it! This was my problem. I've just unplugged my raid hard drives to test and the game opens and plays immediately.
All those settings I spent hours changing last night! How frustrating!

secure boot and bios problem... right now we need to do something with hard drivers? okay now im sure to skip this game

This is definitely not the solution. Doesn't work.
This didn't work for me. Game is still crashing on launch with no error codes.
