pick bf6event.exe in the beta root folder.
This is it. This is the fix. Worked for Steam too. I missed out on TWO Labs invites due to this problem and was smashing my head this morning for beta. Thank you so much.

I installed the Battlefield 6 beta on Steam on a regular SSD and Battlefield 6 separately on another M.2 drive via the EA app to rule out drive and client errors. I can launch and play any other EA game, whether Apex Legends or Battlefield 2042, but not the BF6 beta. When I launch it, I get the error message 0xc0000604. I've already tried running as an administrator and disabled fullscreen optimization, but I still get the message. My hardware is a Strix 4090 with the latest drivers, running Windows 11 and an R9. I have the latest drivers, and no other game is causing problems when launching or playing. Please provide a solution.
Whether on Steam or EA I get the same error message.

For those using the EA App, I found a solution that may help if you’ve already updated BF6, Windows, your graphics drivers, and enabled Secure Boot:
- Open Windows Security
- Go to the App & browser control tab
- Click on Exploit protection settings at the bottom
- Go to the Program settings tab
- Click + Add a program to customize, then select Add by program name
- Enter bf6event.exe as the program name, then click Add
- Disable all settings by clicking Override system settings for each item, then set them to Off and click Apply :
- Make sure there are 7 system overrides listed :
The 0xc0000604 error should no longer appear when launching BF6.
