Bug PS5: Game does not show the right profile in social

Yeah Thunderbirds0789​ , I still remember getting Dr.Pepper dog tags for BF3. I'm planning on trying to unlock the bonus rewards on both profiles, just in case.  It might be grindy, but at least I already had signed up for BF Labs so I should have access tomorrow on at least one of the profiles. I sound like the noob from Battlefield Friends lol, how do you play on both accounts? I can’t figure out how to switch between the two 😂 or do you mean play on one account, then unlink it then play on the other? Also the Dr Pepper tags! Such a throwback haha. Yeah same here, on BFLabs it’s the right one for me. Hopefully it doesn’t impact things too much 😅

Title, i noticed when i got invited to the skate. playtest that it was using my old PSN name that i no longer have access to, didnt think anything of it until i launched the beta on my PS5 to see it is still using that old PSN name instead of my new and up to date one, if theres a way i can just change the name it displays i would be fine with that, but im worried if my only choice is unlinking the unwanted PSN account then it will remove my access to skate. and the early access to the beta 

Yes, unfortunately that is likely the case.  You will likely need to reach out to Playstation Support to see if they can help you regain access to that old PSN account.

I’d suggest for now to leave things as they are since it seems to be a visual issue and not necessarily a functional issue. From what I’ve heard this worked fine in BFLabs and wasn’t an issue there. Same with BF2042.

Great news! The correct name is being displayed in the kill feed & the scoreboard. The incorrect one is only seen in the EA Connect (R2) menu.

Dip, dip, potato chip. On the PS5, go to your profile (where your avatar is) either in the top right of the Home Screen:

...or in the bottom row of buttons that comes up when tapping the PS button. Choose "Switch User" and there's an option there to add a new user.

It's a moot point for this situation, though. When I first logged into my alternate PSN account after a few rounds on my primary account, I was already the same level with all the same stuff unlocked. Our game progression seems to be tied to our EA account including the challenge rewards but also rank, weapons, attachments, etc. My stats & unlocks are identical on both PSN personas.

My issue is somewhat similar, but instead of the in-game profile showing one of my old ones, it shows up as my friends profile on bf6 and his in-game profile shows up as mine. No issues on any other battlefield games and our ea accounts have never been linked to eachother in any way, shape, or form so we are at a loss for what's going on. Can't even join eachother without a 3rd because when we got to our friends list, since we are somehow eachother now, it says he is already in my squad because I am him for some reason. Even weirder is that this is his ea account I'm posting on that it logged me into when selecting the sign in with psn option
