I'm not crazy good at understanding how games work under the hood, but wanted to shed some light on a crazy bug I incurred. See clip attached for details.

When playing early access on August the 8th through steam on Cairo breakthrough as defender in the sector with one A point and busses around it, the camera randomly dislodged itself from my character and put me in third person. I'm not aware of anything I did to make this happen as I was just shooting a proned enemy at close range with a quicker than usual snap of the wrist.
The vertical mouse axis was inverted and aiming "smoothed out" or of high inertia and the crosshair moved around on the screen with the camera being centered around my direction of travel and the vertical mouse axis was inverted. When I respawned I was back in first person.Inertia is when objects have weight in case you didn't know. (Please contact me if you would like help with vehicle dynamics.)
I have no idea how it happened, maybe tank part (at right fell on me?). I was live. I was able to run around camera freely (in fact do any actions), but camera was fixed on this place and track me.

I have been running around and hit a rock, which has caused a bug where I go into third-person view and the camera is locked on that spot.

Was placing down a redeployment beacon when hit with an explosion. The camera view change to a 3rd person view but the camera was at a fixed point. Dieing fixed the issue.

This happened to me today too.
I think it was a result of dying, getting res'd quickly and then dying immediately and getting res'd again. Rollercoaster emotions that was. The camera stayed fixed on the death angle, but my character was up and moving and turning as I was giving the inputs. I made him run over a hill and then lost sight and no enemies around for a free kill so I forced a respawn, which fixed the camera angle.

Same thing happened to me today, on the same map, on the Xbox. 😅
I got sniped, then ran to my body, then immediately got placed in the third person mode.

This happened today to me while playing on Liberation Peak. When I fired the last round of a grenade launcher and the game automatically switched back to my rifle, the camera detached from my character.
At first it looked as if it switched to a third-person perspective, but when I started moving I realized that the camera was stuck in its current position and would not move with my player model (it would continue pointing at it though). I have only seen this bug once and have no idea what might have caused it or how to reproduce it.
