Cannot disable controller inputs

I have several joysticks, pedals etc.. connected to my PC. BF6 seems to be picking up the inputs of all of them, without any evident way of disabling them (I have already disabled them in Steam settings, but they seem to be managed natively within BF6).

The game is completely unusable for me as I cant even navigate the main menu since my mouse inputs are constantly getting overridden by continuous left/right inputs. I haven't even gotten into the actual gameplay yet. 

I am certainly not going to disconnect all my devices every time I want to launch this game. There should be a simple setting to globally (or individually) disable controllers.
