DirectX Error

When playing beta, this error appears. I tried to do: -Roll back the driver to the previous version -Make a clean newest driver installation -Tried to write -dx11,-dx12 in the startup propert...

    Try starting the game in Windowed and changing the graphics quality to low. 

    It worked for me. 🙂

I'm also getting this error with the specs: 9850X3D, 7900XTX, 32gb Ram. 

I have tried: 

  • Resetting windows (Repairing)
  • Verifying Steam Files
  • Re-Installing the Game
  • DDU Uninstall and Re-Install of the Latest Graphics Drivers
  • Setting Anti-Cheat & Game Exes to Compatability Mode: Administrator
  • Disabling all overlays
  • Whitelisting the Folder in Defender AV
  • Clearing Caches (Redundant because I've reinstalled, but thought it was worth a try)
  • Undervolting the GPU
  • Launching in -d3d11 mode 
  • And yes I've turned it off and on again...
  •  

All drivers and system are upto date. XMP Settings enabled, Secure Boot Enabled, and I'm at a loss now on what to do next. Short of nipping to the shop and buying a different GPU...

[Ninja Edit] - Additional things I've tried

  • Editing ...\Documents\Battlefield 6 Open Beta\settings\PROFSAVE_profile to set the linke `GstRender.Dx12Enabled 1`
  • Disabling Reflections in advanced settings
  • Setting _all_ settings to low/off 

 

Setting to low or off has been the closest to success I've had, I got 10 minutes of gameplay instead of 30-120seconds, but it still crashed regardless.

    try pinned comment, helped for me... But it's stupid that my PC can easily 90+fps on ultra settings, and I have to play on low just for no crash.

      I bought a £1,000 GPU, to play  game at low settings in windowed, it's bizarre what we get reduced too. I haven't tried it, but they do have maintenance tomorrow morning. I'm hoping a fix/patch comes out if not I'll try it as its one of the few things I've not tried yet.
