EA Anticheat causing crashes.

This has happened to me and others, and there doesn't seem to be a known fix yet. The game starts to freeze and everything slows down, then suddenly it crashes silently. If you check the Event Viewer under the system logs, you'll see an error related to the anticheat.

PC specs: RX 9070 XT, I7-12700f, 32GB DDR5

  • This sounds similar to the crash I had earlier. Played several Dom matches just fine. Then I go into a Conquest match and mid game, my PC shuts off and restarts out of nowhere. When I check event viewer, it didn't tell me much, so I checked the crash dump files. Once I put them into a Windows Debugger to make it readable, the main issue did mention easyanticheat.sys and it was the same time it happened. So something has to be going on with EAC. Did you have Secure Boot enabled at the time? I only ask because apparently, my PC had it enabled in bios but it wasn't "active", so it showed up as not being on in system info. If that's the case, I shouldn't have been able to even play the beta at all for the hour and a half that I did before the crash.
