Enemy footsteps bugged

I am on Ps5 and I cannot hear any enemy footsteps. Even when in a quiet place on the map, I don't hear enemies approach, not even a little, and I also sometimes don't hear enemy tanks. But I generally hear friendly footsteps somewhat loudly, although the directionality seems questionable. 

I have a decent headset and have tried all of the audio presets.
