Hi, I get the above errore mesage when starting BF6. I've found similar threads regarding other EA games or BF Titles, however the solutions didn't help. Any Ideas?I have no Programm or Service from Deamon Tools currently installed As far as I know i never had Daemon Tools installed but I had reWASD isntalled. I had a leftover folder DiscSoftLTD in AppData -> Local, but deleting didnt' help.I also don't have any DeamonTools storage controllers in device manager

Also, check if you have any 'DAEMON' devices listed under there:

Check in the device manager, disable anything related to Daemon tools within storage and USB for anything still installed. I know you mentioned you are using a fresh install but just in case.

Resolved this by uninstalling Daemon Tools (which doesn't completely remove everything), then going to:1. device manager, storage controllers and removing the Dtools SCSI entry. 2. device manager, USB controllers and remove Dtools controller. i think or -3. device manager, system devices and remove Dtools.*(click attempt to remove driver option on all pop ups'). Good luck!!

Ive been trying for two days now to get the beta to launch, but even after a full wipe and reinstall of windows it gives me the same error for a piece of software that i don't have installed(see attached image for clarification). The only code that it has ever given me is 84 which i have no idea what means

Deamon Tools? Look's like something still left in a system. Maybe it's a partition on a drive.
How many drives connected to a system?
Did you check Disk Managment in Windows?

it boots! no idea what caused it to finally boot but im able to get into the menu now. this is now no longer an issue and i wish i could tell how i fixed it but i genuinely dont know how

i have several drives connected yes, but the game itself is on my main drive. But as stated by my latest comment the game works, somehow.

You’re not allowed to use any software which creates a virtual code. Same goes for DS4 etc. It fixed for me when I uninstalled Daemon Tools and removed the virtual disk

well the thing is i have never used any Daemon tools software before. All my external drives are connected via either USB or directly in the PC itself, which is why this was so confusing to me
