Crashes happens either multiple times in a few minutes or after a few hours, this is the error:

DirectX function “GetDeviceRemovedReason()” failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG GPU: “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080” Driver: 58097 This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try updating your drivers or checking for overheating.

What I tried:

cranking down different settings relative to the illumination/shadows
tried the latest 3 drivers versions from nvidia, each time with a clean installation
removed the steam overlay
made sure no undervolt/overclock is active
limited the FPS to 90 (to keep it stable and avoid any stress on the card)
made sure temps are ok (never above 70)

Specs:

Ryzen 9 7950x3d
32gb ram 6400mhz
rtx 3080 msi suprim
win 11
All the drivers are up to date including chipset and also BIOS is at the latest version.

If someone at EA needs more data that I may have forgot I'm more than happy to help.

I've got the same problem and I have also tried all the dubious "fixes" I could find on the internet.

- reinstalled latest drivers
- turned off resizable bar in bios
- tried all different ingame settings
- launching with -dx11 as start parameter
- underclocked my GPU
- update BIOS
- reinstalled bf6
and many more, and nothings seems to resolve this issue.

Specs:
Ryzen 9 5900X
XFX RX6900 XT
16GB 2133MHz RAM
Win 10

Sometimes the crash happens immediatly, sometimes it starts stuttering really hard a couple of times and then it crashes.

I really hope EA can do sth about this. I actually just bought the above hardware because I wanted to play BF6 with my friends. This is a total Bummer :(
