Game Modes Locked Despite Having Early Access to the BF6 Beta

    Hello everyone,

    With the Early Access period for the Battlefield 6 Open Beta now concluded and the Open Beta available to all as of August 9, I will be closing this thread. The beta is now open to anyone interested in trying Battlefield 6.

    If you are still experiencing issues, such as being unable to access the Open Beta during the active dates (August 9–10 and August 14–17), please create a new thread in the Battlefield 6 Beta Technical Issues & Bugs section on the EA Forums. Be as detailed as possible when describing your issue.

    Please also note that a PS+ or Xbox Game Pass Core (minimum) membership is required to play online on consoles.

I have bought the game and now i am unable to play the game on the early access open beta which started on 7th Aug'25.

      Hi i bought myself BF 6 Phantom Edition and when I want to play the beta it shows me that all modes are locked and early access is required, and the only thing I could do was a few training sessions and no MP was available.

        Pre order doesn't give you Early Access. With that said even people who got Labs invites are also not able to play. I have both EA Pro and Labs but cannot access the game.

      I think we all have the same issues. We have EA Game pass PRO/Battlefield LABS but we cannot access any game modes in the beta when starting from steam even if our EA accounts are connected

    Hi, I actally was able to play 1 game, after which I got "couldn't join game" and now game modes says "Requires Early Access". Also what's weird, challenges were resetted.

    P.S. I was both applied for BF Labs and got key through Twitch drops, platform is Steam, correct account is linked.

    Preorder doesn't have early access code, only membership to EA Play Pro or Bf lab registration before July 31

    All I had to do to fix it was goto dash and restart the game, it worked for me and my freinds.

    Same here. Now it's the beta weekend and it's still locked. I never should have pre ordered this game. EA needs to get this **bleep** fixed
