Game Modes Locked

I downloaded the beta two days ago. All of the online content is locked for me. While this is frustrating, it’s a simple inconvenience. I didn’t pay to get early access, so I’m not going to lose sleep over this. 

HOWEVER, for those that paid to get early access and are locked out. Shame on you EA. This company is the embodiment of Lucy with football and we the fan base are Charlie Brown hoping that you’ll finally not be a terrible steward of the IP we so enjoy. But like clock work you have yet again made us feel foolish and stupid for trusting you, and here we are on our backs yet again as EA pulls the football, while keeping our money.

People, if this isn’t proof you should not pre-order I don’t know what is. Make EA work for your dollar and prove they care about customer value not share holder value. Lastly, this is not a smear on the devs. This is most probably a budgetary issue where the suits didn’t want to spend the capital necessary to ensure the beta launches properly. Kudos to the devs, you seemed to have listen to the fan base in what we wanted and the game looks beautiful. It’s a shame you have to work for a corporation that does not value you or the customers.

My hope is EA proves me wrong and makes this right, especially by those that paid. But if past is prologue, Lucy is getting ready to pull that football again.
