Muffled/Muddy sounds system-wide when starting BF6

This is occurring when using my bluetooth headphones. Sennheiser Accentum on Windows 11. As soon as BF6 launches it makes all sound across my system sound muffled. I can verify by playing a song on Spotify and then launching BF6. As soon as I get into the menu, the sounds turns awfully muffled and muddy sounding. If I exit the game and then pause/unpause the music, it turns back to normal.

In-game sound is also muffled and I can't hear gunshots and such. I watched a tank fire less than 30m from me and couldn't hear it. The sounds I do hear sound like I'm underwater.

This ONLY occurs when using my headphones. Using speakers, things work fine.
