it restarted and I found the error in the minidump in the battlefield folder. It only creates a dumpfile when my pc crashes and not the game.
Did you get a blue screen or did your pc just turn off and restart?
No blue screen. Just a shut off.
I’m trying to play the game in the ea app v steam now to see if maybe steam is the problem.

I'm having the exact same issue as you.
EDIT: For anybody that sees this in the future and is having the same issue, I've played 5 full games without crashing after swapping to the EA launcher instead of steam. I've never been able to play 2 games in a row without a game crash. I could just be getting lucky but it seems to be working for now. Give it a try if you're having the same issue.

An update to my post above, using the EA launcher instead of Steam is the fix. I haven't had any trouble since switching to the EA launcher. I've probably played around 20 games and have had no crashes.
