Physics glitch with tank + hovering in mid-air

A bug I noticed that kept recurring. While lying on a tank, when it explodes due to destruction, I'm launched high above the buildings without any damage, and I can easily deploy my parachute and land. A few times, I've been suspended in mid-air and can fire from very high above without being noticed.
