Problem with account

Hello,

I’m not sure if this is the right section to post in, but I also don’t know where else it should go. I need help with my account — I can’t connect to the EA servers when trying to play the Battlefield 6 beta. This isn’t just a typical connection problem, and here’s why:

1. I downloaded the game earlier, launched it without any issues, and got to the main menu even though the game servers were still offline and there was a countdown showing when they would be available.

2. The next day, when the servers went live, the game started normally. I waited in the queue, but then I got an error saying “Unable to connect to EA servers”. At first, I thought it was just server overload, but after several failed attempts, I started looking for solutions online. I should mention that I was playing through Steam and my accounts are linked. I also tried running the game via the EA App directly — same error. I tested every fix I could find: clearing cache, reinstalling the game and app, changing various network settings — nothing worked.

3. My brother lent me his account to see if it would work, and it did — I connected immediately and could play without the slightest problem.

4. After playing for some time on my brother’s account, I tried again on mine — still no luck. I started looking into whether there might be a mismatch in my account details or if unlinking and re-linking my Steam account would help. I updated my information, but now I can’t unlink my Steam account (or my Google or Twitch accounts). Nothing happens when I confirm the unlinking process.

So now I’m stuck. I have no option to open a live chat window, I can’t create a new case, and there’s no such button anywhere. My account has never been banned or expired; I’ve often used EA Play and never had any problems until now. What can I do in this situation?
