Re: BF6 Beta PC Client Not Launching - Silent Crash After Startup

Battlefield 6 Crash Report
==========================

System Summary:
---------------
GPU:        NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
CPU:        Intel Core i7-14700KF
RAM:        32GB DDR5 (XMP enabled)
PSU:        ASUS ROG Thor 850W
Storage:    Samsung 980 PRO 2TB NVMe SSD
OS:         Windows 11 64-bit

Crash Behavior:
---------------
- Game frequently crashes to desktop (CTD) with no error.
- Occasional DirectX error: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.
- Two recent system reboots logged in Event Viewer (Event ID 41).
- Crashes occur during gameplay, even at lowest settings.

Troubleshooting Performed:
--------------------------
1. ✅ NVIDIA driver updated to latest version.
2. ✅ Game graphics settings reduced incrementally to lowest.
3. ✅ Game launched with `-dx11` and confirmed via user.cfg:
       GstRender.Dx12Enabled 0
4. ✅ All overlays disabled (Steam, GeForce, Discord, etc).
5. ✅ Undervolted GPU via curve editor: 2655 MHz @ 0.900V.
6. ✅ Hardware stress-tested with OCCT (CPU, GPU, RAM, PSU) — all passed.
7. ✅ UPS removed during testing to rule out power interference.
8. ✅ SSD health confirmed — 91% remaining life, no warnings or errors.
9. ✅ user.cfg placed in correct directory:
       C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings\user.cfg

user.cfg Contents:
------------------
GstRender.Dx12Enabled 0
RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2
RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 1
Thread.ProcessorCount 8
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 16
Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount 2
GstRender.ThreadJobs 2

Conclusion:
-----------
All hardware confirmed stable under synthetic load. Crashes are isolated to Battlefield 6 and persist across graphics APIs (DX11/DX12), power profiles, and configuration changes. Issue appears to stem from incompatibility between the game engine and RTX 5080 or current driver stack.

Recommendation:
---------------
Please escalate this report to the Battlefield QA/dev team and NVIDIA driver team for review. A temporary workaround or driver hotfix may be required.

Here is the same situation with crashes from the game as described in the Conclusion after 10-20 minutes and DirectX-Error: dxgi_error_device_removed and dxgi_error_device_hung.
Please throw an eye out of it! It's really annoying.
