Re: [INFO REQUEST] BF6 Beta Weekend 2: Sudden In-Game Game Crashes on PC

This is sort of a continuation of an earlier post, where I would sum it up as my beta while crash roughly every hour or two. Now in the second week it crashes every ten minutes. My drivers are updated, and I have done just about everything I can think of, and nothing works. My temps cores do get fairly hot, which is understandable with a game of this magnitude, but not hot to the point of system failure. I even uninstalled the game on steam and redownloaded it on the ea app and I didn’t even get into the game before my pc shut off. Any help on this matter would be awesome, as I am at my wits end.

SAME HERE! I didn't change anything.. I was having a grand time last weekend and only crashed every hour or two. Now I can't finish a game. CTD without hardly a hiccup. Sometimes a Direct X error. I've tried a million "fixes" and nothing has helped. This sucks!

Newest drivers, tried reinstalling drivers. Tried verifying game. Moved game to different SSD. Changed virtual memory size. Turned various graphics settings up and down. Tried full screen and borderless. Stumped. Was looking forward to playing this weekend but I guess I'll find something more productive to do.

Same here! I have tried everything,

They have been messing around with the game as DLSS has been removed from settings.

Same issue here. Intel i9-14900KF, 64GB DDR5, MSI 4090 Tuff Gaming, tried everything. Changing secure boot to regular/custom, changed ram slots, low settings, followed every youtube guide etc..nothing..Only this game and COD have ever crashed my system. Ever. And there often is no error, just playing, black screen and PC is shutdown and turned back on like a reboot...

It is very frustrating as many of my friends are enjoying the beta but it seems that these issues are not happening to too many of us. I will try some “solutions” I have found and get back to you guys

Same here, I'm still playing here and there but it's frustrating I can't finish a match. I'll reply if I figure it out or if it just stops crashing

Having some issues. Something about my gpu being removed or the game just freezing. Perfectly fine last weekend. 3070ti. Tried reinstalling old drivers. New drivers. Everything I can think of.

Yeah same here. I think I managed to finish a game last week and then after that it kept crashing. Thinking this week would be better, but it's worse. I can't even get into a game and the game just crashes. I have the latest drivers, updates etc and nothing works. I've tried all the youtube fixes etc but it's the same. If anyone finds a fix let me know.

Bugcheck is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0xA) and WinDbg points to eaanticheat.sys as the cause. I’ve disabled Hyper-V/VBS/Memory Integrity, turned off HAGS, removed all overlays, done a clean NVIDIA driver install, repaired EA Anti-Cheat, updated all drivers and BIOS, and tested completely at stock settings. Still happens 100% of the time. Looks like EA Anti-Cheat kernel driver is tripping the BSOD under normal conditions

Same here, I crash once every match no idea why. I had no problems last Beta. I've validated files, restarted PC, even tried playing on steam vs EA. I would really like to play the beta, but crashing each game is tough.

Actually might have found a fix (X570, 5700X3D).

Could be one of 2 things:

    1. Delete EA anti cheat folder (located where your game data is) and verifying files in Steam to reinstall it, then restart your computer. When I restarted, I also:
    2. In my BIOS I made a new memory profile for DOCP (the same settings just switched it to that) and then also reset my secure boot keys.

    Hope that works for somebody!!

    GPU: AMD RX 6700XT
    CPU: Ryzen 5700X3D

On Week 1 - Keeps DirectX Crash -> Resolve: Don't use XESS

On Week 2 - Just constant crashes and freeze without message error (already tried turn off XMP as well).

Please fix the game, hopefully can be more polished when release

So 3 of us have a 5700X3D - I feel like that is notable..

I turned off "AMD ANTI-LAG" in the drivers and seem to be able to run about 30-40 mins at a time now instead of 5-10. Since I have been trying other things I'm not 100% sure this is why, but maybe someone else can try?

After hours of trying virtually everything...

Uninstalling GPU drivers with DDU and installing the latest with NVcleanstall fixed it for me.

Try resetting all graphics categories. Do not change anything, leave it as default. It stopped crashing for me.

So we should just try to set our graphics to auto? Should about our display settings like frame rate limiter and refresh rate
