Read this if you have Early Access and cannot play!

Firstly, if you only pre-ordered the game you do not have Early Access AFAIK.

This post applies to people who:

1. Got the Labs invite that looks like this:
   
2. Have EA Pro

Like many others I was having issues this morning with gamemodes saying Locked because I did not have Early Access.

To fix not being able to play, try the following as I've seen it working for lots of people:

1. Sign into your EA Account online and make sure the platform you're playing on is linked
2. Close the game
3. Verify Game Files (I had 3 files missing between last night and this morning)
4. Restart the game and cross your fingers

I was able to play immediately after re-verifying my file.
