I also made a post about it: Accessibility - Tinnitus settings not working | EA Forums - 12438337
I understand there might not be a lot of people with these issues, but for some the game is just unplayable in it’s current state. I wish it was only the revive sound that’s problematic, its a really bad one. But flying a jet is also unbearable, when you are low on health, having an explosive detonate close-by and the muffled sound effects are all way to high pitched. I even have issues with the sniper sound, when you don’t use a supressor.
This game is seriously the worst game I ever played with my hearing issues, and I only play on mid-low volumes. Even played with sound effects volume below 50 and it hardly did anything. Recorded the sounds with and without using the tinnitus settings and it didn’t changes anything noticable. It’s not working as it suppose to.
I won’t be playing the game this way, I was pretty exited playing it the first weekend before I got any issues. Still have some hope they might fix it, but it seems there isn’t much interest in this issue at all and it’s probably very low on their priority list, let alone they will ever notice the problem.
I tried the beta the first day of the second weekend, and unfortunatly nothing changed. I had the same issues after playing for more than 1 hour.
A warning to other people that never experienced tinnitus or similar hearing issues, you can also get it from playing games on higher volumes. Be cautious, especially with bf6 current audio design and audio settings.
