I’ve just resolved this issue, and it’s actually quite easy to fix. You need to enter your PC’s BIOS and make sure that Secure Boot is both enabled and active.
On Gigabyte motherboards, Secure Boot may show as enabled but not active. To fix this:
- Disable Secure Boot.
- Re-enable it.
If that doesn’t work, look for an option beneath it labeled Standard. Change it to Custom, then back to Standard — this should set Secure Boot to both enabled and active.
For other motherboard brands, check the manufacturer’s website or support forums for specific BIOS instructions.
