Unable to give attack/defend orders with the commorose when squadleader

I've been having troubles with the commorose.

I'm unable to select any of the objectives in the squad order menu in  the commorose. If i just look at the flag and press ping button it works, but as soon as I want to do it with the commorose I just am unable to select any of the objectives

Also other requests on the commorose work just fine.

It's kind of frustrating when in a tank or if you're on the point already and don't want wanna look up at the flag.

Is there a setting I'm missing or is it some kind of bug or another oversight?

I'm playing on PC through steam if that helps with anything.
