Unable to give attack/defend orders with the commorose when squadleader

I had the same issue.  I suspect it was because I am on an ultrawide monitor.  When opening the commorose the mouse is offset to the left about 6".  Though I could rotate around to highlight parts of the commorose, I was not able to call orders because I could not place the mouse onto an option as mousing over an option would highlight a different part of the commorose.
