Virtual Controller

I'm a disabled veteran that lost use of my right arm. I use JoyToKey virtual controller to bind my movement keys on my keyboard to my Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedal for my flight sim. I play COD, Broken Arrow, Ready or Not, Insurgency Sandstorm, and may other FPS or games that require movement keys. Please help

  • I am a stroke survivor with partial paralysis on the right side, more Specifically, my right arm and right leg. I use a SANWA style controller, configured to JoyToKey to WASD, and I place it on the floor for my left foot, it work very well. COD and World of Warcraft use virtual controllers and I play them all the time.

Now I get the error message about virtual controllers not being recognized by the game. Very frustrating!  I hope the do away with that in the near future. I understand that is for security reasons, but I think that their security has to be addressed before game release. Apparently the game is filled with cheaters.

    Just my 2 cents,

    Dave

I am having a similar issue. I use a custom controller (a "Dragonrise Inc. Generic USB Joystick" according to Steam and Windows) designed to use my feet for WASD. I use joy2key to translate the controller input to WASD so it is useable for games. Without it, BF6 doesn't detect the controller at all (but it detects other controllers when they are plugged in). There is no way I can play without this controller working.
