Unable to launch Battlefield 6 – Javelin anti-cheat loop / launch failure
Hello,
I’m participating in the Battlefield 6 beta but I can’t launch the game.
Here are the symptoms:
During the first weekend, I had a blue screen in every match.
Since then, the game won’t launch at all: Javelin anti-cheat starts, the UAC prompt requesting the admin password appears several times, then I get "Failed to launch the game".
No specific error code, only the generic message.
System configuration:
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4
Processor: Intel i5-12400F
RAM: 32 GB DDR4
GPU: [insert your exact GPU model]
OS: Windows 11 Professional 23H2 – build 26100.1
BIOS Mode: UEFI
Secure Boot: Enabled (verified via msinfo32)
TPM 2.0: Enabled
Steps already attempted without success:
BIOS / Firmware:
Disabled CSM, switched to UEFI only
Enabled Secure Boot in Standard mode with default keys
Enabled fTPM / TPM 2.0
Verified system disk is GPT
Secure Boot confirmed as Enabled in msinfo32
Javelin Anti-Cheat:
Uninstalled via EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe and reinstalled automatically on game launch
Set game and anti-cheat executables to always run as administrator
Added both executables to Windows Defender exclusions
Windows:
Disabled overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience, etc.)
Disabled third-party antivirus
Tested in Clean Boot mode
Available logs and diagnostics:
dxdiag.txt file
Javelin logs (C:\Program Files\EA\AC\Logs)
Screenshot of msinfo32 showing Secure Boot enabled
Please check if there’s an issue on the anti-cheat or EA account side preventing the game from launching, as all required conditions seem to be met.
Kind regards,
Juan
