Veteran Players Feedback – Hardcore Mode in BF6

My friends and I have been playing Battlefield since the classic 1942. We’ve played BF3, BF4, BF1, BF5… and we have always been huge fans of the franchise. We believe BF6 has great potential.

Since the release of BF4, we have complained about two main aspects that, in our opinion, hurt the game:

Radar/spotting – The current system where players are constantly marked on the map and radar removes the element of surprise and reduces the need for real situational awareness.

Low damage – It takes too many bullets to eliminate an enemy, leading to frustrating situations: often you react faster, see the opponent first, shoot first, but because the damage isn’t high enough, the enemy can simply turn around and kill you. This breaks the logic and fairness of firefights.
We believe the damage should be at least doubled to make combat more realistic and to reward players who react and shoot first.
For example, sniper shots should require only one bullet to kill, not two, or one headshot. The current system is completely unrealistic for this weapon type.

General suggestion:
Add an official Hardcore mode where:

There is no automatic spotting on the radar.

Damage is higher (ideally doubled).

As an incentive, this mode could grant extra XP.

We believe this would bring back a more tactical, intense, and fair experience, appealing to both veteran and new players.

In your radar/spotting topic, i might have an unpopular opinion about this, but they need to go back to Bad Company 2 Spotting, we didnt have Sniper Lens Flare tho, which is debatable if its good or bad, but thing is BC2 as a game feel much more organic in its combat, less HUD and more focused gameplay, but i need to admit that might be because of the smaller maps, back then we didnt have Jets for an example of how short it was (and nobody missed it lol) BF4 was also a good example on how things might be, a more modern take on it, with more HUD in your face, but at least its 'fair'.

I want to add to this topic, as a Veteran myself, played BF1942 back in the day, and since then every title until BF1 on beta and release day.
The classes are a bad thing being as is, Support giving Ammo, Health and Reviving, you can use a Sniper Rifle as a Support too, didnt they saw how less teamplay focused these can make the game feel via BF2042 Fiasco? BC1, 2, BF1 and BF5 have a better sort of classes than BF2042 and consequentially BF6, not saying we need BF2 Classes (Although it was very nice), but limitation would be of greater interest imho

Also, i enjoy the destruction but one grenade destroying a whole building while doing minimal explosive damage to the people inside is kinda nonsensical, and took me off the experience a little, not a major thing but im just being old saying BC2 had it done better.
