As a current software developer who once worked in technical support of a call center, I remember telling customers to post on a forum where I then would be the same person to respond to that person. No developers ever read the forum posts so I find it pretty alarming that we create open user discussions about bug issues when lets be real, no developer is getting paid to come and read forum posts.
With that out of the way, it was easy enough to find this existing thread so I'll attach a copy of my feedback response I already sent:
-------------------------------
I'm not looking to create an open discussion on a public forum with a bunch of people.. I'm looking to report a bug to the company who supports and develops the software about the issue I've experienced on the Open Beta of BF6.
Considering I won't be submitting a bug report ticket, I'll assume you'll send this to the correct location as a public forum will never be where developers are reading bug reports. I know, I'm a software developer...
BF6 Bug Report -- Open Beta Week 2
Issue:
When ADS with a M4A1 with the following attachments:
5MW Green Laser Light, DVO 5x sight, Improved MAG catch guard, soft point ammo, 30 round mag, ribbed vertical foregrip, 11.5 commando barrel, and compensated brakeI'm unable to see the scenery, people or make out much of the image.
Expected:
A slightly viewed in image of what I can see prior to being ADS with minor vision block from the scope and possible loss of field perception due to the slightly zoomed in viewActual:
A mostly white view as if someone flash banged me and I'm slowly recovering from it. Its very hard to identify anything, especially if there's additional debris like smoke, then it goes completely white almost blinding me at my computer screen. The only indicator there is a person in front of me is a red dot if I spotted him prior to ADS, which I need to just shoot below the red dot, not look for the person.
