It's probably a case of waiting for full release, but I don't expect there to be offline bots myself. I'm anticipating the game being online-only.

ElliotLH That's shameful when you think about it, we ought to be able to play how we want when we have paid for the game.
I'm sure we had this in previous BF games? And these were the reasons alone sometimes which got people to pick up the game in the first place.
I hate it when people say "We are moving forward for a better experience" but ultimately end up going backwards.

The past games haven't officially featured online bots, so it's not outside the realms of possibility that this will also be the case for BF6. A lot of publishers also require an online connection to play, so requiring a connection isn't really all that unusual.
However, as I said originally, we will have to wait for release or some confirmed information before anyone knows for definite. I could ultimately be wrong.

JennyB_010 None of the Frostbite Battlefields has offline bots as far as I remember. The last Battlefield to have them is 2142 from 2006. The closest we can get to a modern Battlefield with destruction and bots is Venice Unleashed, but that's a mod.
Personally, I'd love bots in BF6 very, very much. I loved the gun play and movement in the beta, and being able to play with bots offline whenever I wanted and in any modes or maps I wanted would make BF6 practically immortal for me. But I think there's basically no chance we get offline bots specifically. Online on servers like in 2042? Confirmed in the beta even. Offline like in 2/2142/Battlefront 2? Possibly maybe, probably not.
I really wish to be proven wrong, though.

Battlefield2042 wasn’t offline. You had to log on to their server to play anything, even co-op without a server like in portal. This is online because you literally cannot play anything without internet. Battlefront 2 could be played with no internet (offline) and with bots.
The problem with not having offline is that now the game officially has a shelf life when Dice decides to turn off the servers. The game cannot be played AT ALL. You can buy Battlefront 2 today and play the game FOREVER.
