if you had crashing issues on the Battlefield 6 open beta, I unfortunately have bad news as this problem is still very much happening. Three out of the four games I played crashed within 5/10 minutes, one of which shut off my entire console (as was the case on the beta). I have gone ahead and already requested a refund. Extremely disappointed.

Same, Intel 14700K and 6950XT. I get a few minutes into a game and bang to desktop with a direct x GPU has been removed error and AMD driver. AMD drivers are quite often terrible but its frustrating to have issues like this as the Beta was actually ok for me, but I have a feeling I was running a really old AMD driver at the time. Might roll back and see what happens.
Same problem here. Series X runs every other game fine, but BF 6 crashes it after about 20 minutes. Console is clean in both fan and heat sink areas.

Same thing happened to me and happened before when I played 2042 I think it’s just EA in general
Was able to play 9 min and 30 seconds by downgrading to Nvidia v577.

I was able to play finally by moving my install location to my main hard drive, reset global settings in NVidia, and uninstalled and installed DLC content.
I have the same issue — in my very first match, in quality mode (60 FPS), after about 10 minutes of gameplay, the screen froze for a few seconds and then my Xbox Series X shut down.

Guys who have issues on Xbox Series X — listen up.
I had the same shutdown problem back in the beta. I deleted the beta on the second early-access day after just two or three matches because my console turned off about five times.
Then, at release, I launched the full game, enabled fixed 60 FPS — and boom, same thing, console shut down during the very first match.
Here’s what finally helped me:
I went to the Xbox settings and deleted all HD texture packs — HD Multiplayer and HD Campaign. They take about 30 GB total on Series X. Then I kept fixed 60 FPS mode on.
After that, I’ve played 8 hours total over two days — not a single crash, no shutdowns at all. If you’ve been struggling with the same issue, try this method — it might actually fix it for you too.
Interesting. If anyone else can verify that this works that would be a decent temporary solution. I ended up getting a refund via Xbox and have bought the game on steam. Not one crash in roughly 4 hrs of playtime.

How did you request for a refund? I am having the same issues and I am so pissed off…
Yeah it's incredibly frustrating. I did it through the microsoft order history via the xbox website. When I got my refund I had no longer than an hour of play time. If you've played a bunch there's a high chance they won't refund it, even if the game is practically busted.
