Re: Give PC Players The Ability To Disable Crossplay

Having played 20,000+ hours of first person shooters over ~30 years, I know what proper FPS play is supposed to feel like and when something feels off.

This situation of being FORCED to play with controller players with various auto-assists is just pathetic. It feels so contrived and fake playing against these users in-game. Quad-headshots arriving all in an instant from people hip spraying light machine guns from 50+ meters away, hitting you perfectly through obscuration, vehicles shooting you through cover perfectly. I was telling my young nephew just starting PC Mouse and Keyboard playing that unfortunately the glory days of skill vs skill are over.

And this is not even getting into those absolute cheese PC players that switched to controller just because of the artificial benefits or the millions of hardware cheaters you are FORCED to play with on consoles.

And no, I have no problem killing players so "get gud" doesn't apply.

This is the worst spot first person shooters have ever been in my lifetime.
