Hi, I’ve merged the post as this appears to be the same issue. This has been passed along for the team to investigate further.
If you happen to have a controller available, we've seen a number of players mention that plugging one into your PC should allow you to exit the stuck chat and continue playing.
Another workaround for players who don't have a controller:
Unbind your enter key from opening the chat.
You can bind "j" to it, for example, and unbind "All Chat," which is "j" as standard.
The chat window getting stuck may be related to MSI Afterburner’s on-screen monitoring display. After disabling the on-screen overlay, the game was reportedly able to run normally again. If you’re using MSI Afterburner, it may be worth turning off its on-screen display feature and testing whether that changes the behavior on your side.
While more of temporary workarounds than an actual fix, that may be worth a try while we're looking into things from this end.
We'll update the thread once we have any additional details to share, thank you for hanging in there in the meantime.
