Re: Error code 1:85009S

Hello,

I have the same error message. I have bought the game for me and my father.

I activated it on my steam account and him on EA. Both accounts are linked.

But there are 2 different copies that I have purchased and wanted to be able to play Campaine/Multiplayer at the same time from both accounts seeing I have payed to have 2 games.

If the account was linked why did EA not announce that I can not add another key to EA at least, mentioning that it will cause this.

Now I can not play with him at the same time and this is causing an issue since I have purchased 2 copies and can not play on both at the same time.

We would require a solution as well from EA to assist and provide assistance regarding this issue seeing as I should have gotten a message stating at least that it will not work at the same time and to use a different EA account so we can both play at the same time.

Yep - We're simply gutted. Spent $300 on both editions to have only 1 work at any one given time. I've now unlinked my steam account from Xbox (which I shouldn't have to do) and it still loads my PC progress on Xbox when loading. So no Idea why. To say we're disappointed is an under statement. 

I was playing fine for about 5-6 hours, Got kicked from the game for no reason with an error code. Then rejoined, Then game crashed as soon as I loaded in. Now I can't Connect to online services at all. I turned my fire wall off, flushed my DNS, Reset my router, reset my PC, (and all in the proper order) + "repaired my game files" Still cant play.

Now I've unlinked the Xbox desktop link to my steam account the game won't connect to online services at all.

Error code 14:130003s:-7a

So I can only get though if I enable Xbox linking on desktop - But then, I can't launch the game on Xbox.

This is ridiculous - no support, help or nothing.

Depending on the age of the Xbox account it does not like unlinking. Live and MSN accounts won't let you even change the email attached to the Xbox account.

My friends had 1:85009s kicking whoever was connected. This was fixed by unlinking the steam account and moving to a different EA account and relinking. Both of their accounts one xbox, and one steam were linked to the same EA account. 

We couldn't play in the beta, and the main thread with that error is not unreachable.  

one you brought the game in your in your accout two sons DOB as u have to be 18 also u brought on your accout make sons xbox a family xbox also just ideas as not seen your issue

Bought separate copies for separate accounts but I receive all receipts for the purchases. If I login while my brother is playing it’ll pop up error code 1:85009S. Works fine if it’s one or the other but can’t play together. Any updates on this problem?
