Re: BF Pro & Phantom Edition — Season 2 Clarification Needed

Hey, I have a problem with my Battle Pass Pro Token. Here is the situation:

I used EA Play Pro for a month a while ago.

Two months later, I bought the full Battlefield 6: Phantom Edition on Steam.

I should have a Battle Pass Pro Token to use from the Phantom Edition, but it is not showing up on my account.

It looks like the system is confused because of my old subscription, but I officially own the Phantom Edition on Steam now.

The important phrasing here is "one token which is redeemable against the season of first play" - if you bought and played the Phantom Edition before the end of season 1, then the token was specifically for season 1 and wouldn't be usable for season 2.

In order to use a BF Pro token, the game (or the separate BF Pro Pass) has to be bought during the season that you want to use it, as it doesn't transfer to later seasons.

For even more detailed clarification, please see the post of my colleague below (here).

Yes, that's the correct timeline, but your conclusion is wrong. I've already spoken with EA Support and they explicitly confirmed that I am entitled to the BF Pro token from my Steam purchase. My EA Play Pro subscription was a temporary service that has expired. I have now purchased a separate, permanent license for the Phantom Edition on Steam at full price. This specific purchase includes a new token. You cannot claim it was 'used' during my subscription because this is a brand new transaction for a permanent product. Support acknowledged this is a synchronization bug on your end.

    Hello bocian537,

EA Play Pro doesn't actually give you the Battlefield Pro Token but rather gives you the Phantom Edition, which includes the Battlefield Pro Token, which is redeemable against the season of first play, as you can see here. Therefore, when you later bought the Phantom Edition separately, it didn't give you an additional Battlefield Pro Token.
