Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
Hello,
I am experiencing constant crashes while playing Battlefield 6 and I’m hoping you might be able to help.
My PC specifications are:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 6-Core Processor
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT
RAM: 32 GB
The game most often crashes after around 15 minutes of gameplay, although sometimes it can take a bit longer. The crash always returns me to the desktop with a DirectX error message.
Most of the time the errors are related to DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED.
Some of the error messages I receive include:
DirectX function "Hang Detected in waitForFrameFences" timed out after 8000 ms – failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (The GPU will not respond to more commands).
DirectX function "m_submitFencePlat->GetCompletedValue()" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED (The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred).
GPU mentioned in the errors: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT
Drivers involved in crashes: Adrenalin 25.8.1 and 26.1.1
The crash logs also reference RenderCore2 / SubmissionManagerDx12.cpp.
I have already tried many troubleshooting steps (graphics settings changes, disabling upscaling technologies, driver updates, etc.), but unfortunately nothing has solved the problem so far.
I have also submitted around 30 crash reports using the AMD Bug Report Tool.
Here are several examples of the crashes I’m experiencing:

Best regards.
