I managed to play one game of breakthrough and then I quit to try conquest and now I can't join anything again lol

Having the same issue on PS5. Search for an online game and it looks like it’s loading in, then just takes me straight back to the lobby. Doesn’t even give an error message to give me some idea why this might be happening

Same issue, it would happen sporadically when I was playing in parties last night and reboot/game restarts seemed to fix it. Solo this morning, I can't play anything.

I hate that you're experiencing this, but I'm almost relieved because I thought I was the only freaking one. I just posted on this too. I went through the same thing during the beta and couldn't even play it because the same thing was happening. I'm on PS5. Start a match, Soldier stands up, see Battlefield logo, returns to menu screen. All I can do is play Campaign or go to the practice range. 

Yeah I was up till 4am pulling my hair out 

Im not even getting a loading screen. I just press start, he stands up after a few seconds, then after a few seconds more Im able to press start again. Nothing happens.

We need EA to see this ASAP this is a joke

I'm experiencing the same issue on PS5. I was able to play yesterday without any problems, but today it keeps kicking me back to the main menu right after the operator stands.

I have found a solution! (For myself at least)

So by power of deduction and playing away all afternoon I have finally managed to connect to games first time every single time!

I am connected to a wifi extender so what I had to do was login into my TPLINK extender homepage and turn off the DHCP server, this allows my PC to get its IP address directly from my internets actual router, rather than the extender itself. 

I then used that IP address and manually port forwarded all of the battlefield ports, you can ask ChatGPT to give you the list of ports as I can't paste them into here,

After doing this I restarted my router and restarted my PC, booted up battlefield (still connected to my WiFi extender) and successfully joined a game, quit, tried another and instantly connected! I really hope this helps anybody and it's well worth a try!

I did get into an Initiation Breakthrough match earlier, but after trying again later, it went back to the same old stuff. I'm officially done. Requesting a refund. 

Everything works fine after installing Cloudflare WARP. Don't forget to enable the connection.

The issue 100% has to do with the wifi connection. I've been having the same problem, and I was able to fix it temporarily by using a hotspot from my phone. Once on the hotspot, I found and got into a game immediately. Still unsure how to solve the issue when on wifi, but another user suggested it is an IP/port issue, especially with a wifi extender, which is something I have been using. 

Cloudflare WARP worked for me too! No issues while its active.

Yes there is definitely an issue with wifi extenders, I've been playing no problem since doing what I mentioned, well worth a go. Chat GPT can really help you out if you tell it the extender that you're using and how to make sure your PC is getting its IP address directly from the router, not from the extender. 

By default you will be getting a really strict NAT type from the extender so you must disable the DCHP from the extender. Give it a try mate

I am attempting to play multiplayer but matchmaking lasts 4 seconds and then it kicks me back to the home screen. It happens for all game modes. Please help.
