-PC- Disconnected from Server -BF1-

I disconnect after roughly 50% of matches with the "error: you have disconnected from the server" message.

Things I have already done multiple times:

1). Try to clean cash-memory through this https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/

Do not forget about opening command Prompt from admin

2). Check hosts file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/972034/how-can-i-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default

3). Updated all software/hardware in device manager multiple times.

I'm running windows 10 creators edition latest software, and a wired ethernet connection with no general net connectivity issues like this before.

    Delete your browse history http://www.wikihow.com/Delete-Browsing-History

Ensure that your Antivirus not blocking/scans the connection. The easiest way would be adding an exception for the Origin client and your game http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/A-few-tips-about-Origin/td-p/5912062

Reset your router/modem . (There is a difference between resetting a router and rebooting a router. When you reboot your router that means you cycle the power to it. Resetting your router involves changing it back to its factory settings.

NOTE if your issue persist i think you need to forward some ports on your router to get them to work.

    Hello @TheMachineKill3r

I am really sorry for those connection troubles with the game. Can I also suggest you to perform troubleshooting steps, mentioned in this article here. Those steps should help you to improve  connection for Battlefield 1, and, ultimately, get back into game. Keep us posted on your progress.

    Cheers,

  • I have had this issue in the past and it seems to just go away on it's own. But then it pops up again. As it has lately. I am connecting from the East Coast. I go to the server browser (which shows a lot less servers than it used to) find a game and attempt to connect.  I can tell when I'm going to get the "you have been disconnected from the session" message because the game takes longer than normal to load. And the load process stops for awhile. Next I get the blank screen with the spinning wheel, and then the disconnected message. I have tried all the steps recommended in the help section with regards to connectivity and nothing seems to work. I too, am on Windows 10 with the latest creator's edition update. I have flushed DNS, made sure BF1 has admin access and reset my Xfinity router. Some games I can get into. But recently I am being disconnected more and more. I tried getting a call from technical support but my phone would not allow me to answer their callback for some reason. So, the only forum for help I have available is this one. One last note: when I last had this problem, I eventually used a restore point and restored my PC back to an earlier date. This seemed to work for awhile. But now the problem is back.
