1st Gen PS3 players - DO NOT BUY BATTLEFIELD 4! It has corrupted my PS3 system!
Unacceptable!
This game began freezing/glitching on day one. I've posted my problems here, as requested. I followed the alleged fixes posted on this site. It has done nothing other than ruin my entire system. I have not had ANY problems with any other games SINCE 2008! Including many EA and Battlefield titles.
HOW CAN ONE GAME DO THIS?!?!
My PS3 no longer runs game discs properly!
Your game would freeze/crash at the end of a match or when I attempted to quit out of a match. I would have to eject the disc to get the the main screen. If I did not restart prior to putting in another disc, the disc drive would just spin and not recognize the disc. After restarting, if the system recognizes the disc in the first place, once a start, it will freeze shortly after with the disc drive spinning and have to repeat the process.
I am in disbelief that this one game can cause this issue!
I am hoping someone from EA responds with reparations and I will post this elsewhere and contact Sony as well.
