30 fps no matter what settings

Just got a new GTX 770, and love it, but in BF4 i cant get more than 30-35 fps no matter what settings im using. Before this new card i was using a GTX 550 ti, and i could play on meduim- high, and still get about the same fps. This makes no sense... help!

PS, yes my drivers are up to date. (Although it could be that i just reverted back to windows 7)

    Your computer may be using its on-board video hardware (IGP) rather than your shiny new GPU.

    Try the following to be sure your discrete GPU is being used rather than the on-board IGP.

    1. Open the nvidia control panel
    2. Manage 3D settings, Program settings tab
    3. Click add to choose the program to customize
    4. Click browse and choose: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\bf4.exe
    5. Set your graphics preferences and click apply.
