5TH MCOM FOR EASTER EGG ASSIGNMENT - NO SYMBOL
5TH MCOM FOR EASTER EGG ASSIGNMENT. I have completed this assignment up to the point where you go to the location to see the symbol. It's not there. I have listened to the MCOM several times (transparent lights) for at least 3 to 5 minutes to make sure that the game recognizes that I completed the Morse code part. Then, after decrypting the Morse code and using the necessary cipher to get the location, I go there (in this case the location is STATUE GARDEN APREMONT) and the symbol is not there.
I contacted EA and was told to do the following:
Close the game
Disconnect from PSN
Reconnect to PSN
Didn't work
Close the game again.
Disconnect from PSN again.
Disconnect the internet
Turn off the console
Wait 5 minutes
Turn it back on
Reconnect internet and PSN
Start the game
Didn't work....again.
Repeat every AGAIN AFTER DELETING BF1 FROM THE PLAYSTATION AND RE-INSTALL IT.....
20 minutes later...after all that
DIDN'T WORK.
I called back and got another rep (Harshul) who finally told me that there was nothing he could do to help except to suggest that I post this message. He said that he would report it as a bug and that the ADMINISTRATORS would research it and fix it. The only problem is that I have no way of knowing if anything was done. I'm hoping that when he reports the bug, my info will be there and I will be notified that the problem has been solved.
If anyone has encountered this problem, please give me some much needed advice on how to proceed. Perhaps someone knows how to cause the MCOM to produce a different morse code. Without a new message, I fear that I will not be able to finish these assignments and get the dogtag.
