8 times Scope

Hello everyone, i recently restarted playing both bf3 and bf4 and i had to realise again that the 8 times scope in bf4 no longer looks like the one in bf3.  Instead the visuals of the 8 times is reserved for the Hunter which is totally unusable in most situations except for long range sniping from mountains. Sadly the variable scope 14 times magnification is still too much so adding that to the hunter scope leaves us with a slightly better but still not easily usable scope.

I know my problem wont interest many if anyone BUT my question is. Would it be possible to add a second variable scope that switches between vanilla and 8 times magnification?

Or even better add an 8 times option to the already existing variable scope. I would really love to use a hunter scope with the option to reduce it to 8 times. That way it would be versatile at all ranges and i just love how to scope looks and the cross is by far the best in the game (if you know how to use those kind of mil dot scopes)

To back my request further: just take a look at all the scopes in the game. We have a bunch of the same magnification scopes 1x 3.4x 4x  and 2 x but only in infra. Then we have 6x 7x 8x .... 20x 40x  and 14x only available as variable scope attachment.  You didnt even include the 12x from bf3 and there is a huge gap between the options in the long range category.

But really adding more options to the variable scope takes no work so im not asking for new scope designs or anything.

Or if i can solve it at home by modding strictly visuals and at the same time not being banned for cheating or restricted from joining servers. I thought about switching the scope model of the 8 times and hunter scopes on my local client but i dont know how it works. In older games like half life i was rolling full custom visual setup and it didnt cause any problems.
