All add ons BBCo2 to BF4 - Is there ANY gain for single player/campaign mode when purchasing let's say BBCo2 Vietnam??

short version:
the expansions are multiplayer.

longer version:

When you switch to Vietnam in BFBC2, the single player option
will even disappear from the main menu.
Vietnam is an expansion with a different theme but it just as
the BF3 expansions holds extra maps, weapons and other stuff

for mp only.

Battlefield is mainly mp orientated. The earlier editions did not even

have a campaign as there is now in the games. The earlier editions however
could also be played offline as it contained a game server inside the
program that you could start up and fill with bots.
