AMD HD 6990 Crash Error

http://i.imgur.com/xywkPv9.jpg

Here is the error, there are actually 2, one of them is at the bottom of the screen it's kind of hard to read.

I am assuming this is a problem with my specific card.  I have the latest beta drivers. I will monitor in case you have any questions.

Processor:  AMD Phenom II 1100T @ 3.3ghz

Video Card:  AMD HD 6990 with latest beta drivers

Memory:  16g 1600 ram

OS:  Windows 8.1

my graphics card wasn't overheating.  I have the Artic aftermarket cooler installed onto it so it is always ice c000ld.

I am willing to bet that it may have been my processor overheating tho.. I purchased an after market cooler.  Combining that with the latest patch, everything is working great.

I have great frames now and 0 client crashes!

    Thanks all.

Just to clarify, you mean the latest beta drivers as in 13.11 beta 9.2?

Have you checked out what your temps where doing, do you run a custome fan curve or keep the fan at a higher rpm manually?? I use to have the 6970 and these cards run hot, the fan profiles don't work on there own if you don't manually set up the fan speed or a custom curve. I've bounced off the 105c even seen 115c. But I have only received that message "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" while running 3dmark on my 290x. I was locking up at the second test every time, then would time out and that message popped up. Deleted 3dmark and reinstalled and it worked fine.
